The Devil's Bit Loop

On Christmas Eve i decided to stretch the legs and headed to one of my favourite walks, The Devil's Bit near Tempelmore Co Tipperary. Legend has it that St Patrick banished the Devil from a cave somewhere on the mountain. In a fit of anger the Devil took a bite out of the mountain and spat it out over 20 miles away to where the Rock of Cashel now stands. One thing's for sure, this mountain is steeped in folklore. The attached video was taken inside the Bit and shows the panoramic view across Tipperary, Limerick and as far as the Shannon basin.
We run regular guided walks to the Devil's Bit and if it's something you might fancy, why not drop us a line and get to see this hidden gem. C
